flash + ISO
50
400ISO refers to film speed, speed at which light hits the film. ISO allows the camera to let in more light in order to brighten the picture. In the first picture, ISO & flash were used, the flash deminished the sparkle and brightness of the Christmas lights. you aren't even able to tell they are on. In the 2nd picture ISO is on 50 (the lowest ISO) and not much light is subjected into the picture. In the 3rd picture, ISO was put to 400, bringing more light into the picture, allowing us to bring forward the person out of darkness & still having the Christmas lights show; however a "grainy" look is created the higher the ISO is set to. The last picture is set to an ISO of 5000 which is incredibly high, there really isn't quite a difference between 400&5000, but 5000 does contain a more grainy look. ISO is an amazing camera feature to use when taking picture at night time and in the dark.
